Privacy Policy

GTA Clean & Yard (“we”, “us”) provides outdoor property services across the Greater Toronto Area. This page explains what personal information we handle, why, and what your options are.

1. This website does not have forms

There is nothing to fill in on gtacleanyard.com. We do not ask for your name, email, or address on this site, and there is no account to create. The only ways to reach us are the WhatsApp, phone, and email buttons.

2. What we receive when you contact us

When you choose to write or call, we receive whatever you send us — which in practice is usually your name, your phone number or email, the address where the work is needed, and sometimes photos of the property. We use that information for one purpose: to quote and carry out the job you asked for.

WhatsApp: the conversation happens on WhatsApp, which is operated by Meta and governed by its own terms. We see your message and your WhatsApp phone number. If you would rather not use it, phone and email work just as well.
Email and phone: handled through our own mail and phone providers, used only to reply to you.

3. Analytics

We measure how the site is used with two tools:

Umami Analytics — self-hosted on our own server, uses no cookies, and only counts aggregate visits.
Google Analytics — stores cookies in your browser to recognize repeat visits and understand which pages and services people look at. Google truncates your IP address before storing it, so it is never kept in full.

Neither is used to show you advertising. If you prefer Google Analytics not to measure you, you can install the official opt-out add-on: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Google’s own policy: policies.google.com/privacy.

4. What we never do

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. We do not send marketing email to people who simply asked for a quote. We do not share your address or contact details with anyone outside the crew doing your job.

5. How long we keep it

Quote conversations are kept while they are still useful and for as long as Canadian bookkeeping obligations require for completed jobs. You can ask us to delete your conversation at any time.

6. Your rights

Under Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), you may ask what information we hold about you, request a correction, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
